Some Jewish federal prisoners want to keep things kosher for Yom Kippur … and the Federal Office of Criminal Investigation is accommodating, especially for institutions affected by Hurricane Florence.
The documents show that the FBI has spent $ 21,799 on kosher items, the most sacred Jewish holiday – starting on Tuesday with a breakfast on Wednesday at sunset.
Jewish prisoners in all of the country's facilities have access to kosher food, but the $ 21,799 is specifically earmarked for prisons on the way from Florence. The picture represents already acquired food Hurricane-affected areasespecially if the markets are closed before Yom Kippur.
The office also dropped $ 8,650 for Dasani's bottled water and $ 4,269 for 40 simple portable toilets … all for prisoners if Hurricane Florence's damage locks the toilets.
