Fellow F1 drivers embarrassed Russell

by archyw

“I will never forget this day and this mistake. I will learn from it and become stronger because of it. I am so sorry for the whole team. This cannot be justified,” wrote George Russell after his crash behind the safety cat on his Instagram. He possibly threw away a chance for his first World Cup points.

Fellow F1 drivers respond under the message by giving him a heart. Lewis Hamilton shouts: “You gave everything. Making mistakes is allowed, and feeling pain is part of it. I’ve made more mistakes myself than I can remember. You’re doing great, mate. Straighten your back, keep pushing and on to the next one. ! “

Romain Grosjean has words to the same effect for the Williams driver: “I know all too well what this feels like. It will take a while to get this out of your system, but you’re showing great things. Keep pushing.”

These are just a few of the many reactions, including from former F1 drivers such as David Coulthard and Mark Webber. You can view those reactions via the post below.
