After an essentially virtual 2020 edition, it’s reunion time for Pride Marseille. Tomorrow two big events will animate the streets of the city.
First, the Festival des Fiertés at Parc Longchamp between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. then from 6 p.m. to midnight. A maximum of 1,500 people will be accommodated within the grounds of the park, prior registration is compulsory and entry is subject to presentation of the health pass. Three DJs will be present as well as several activities, the village of associations and institutions. From 3 p.m. it is the start of the traditional Pride march which will pass through the Reformed and then La Canebière. A minute of silence will be observed in front of the Palais de la Bourse in tribute “to the victims of AIDS, of the Deportation in the Nazi camps, of the persecutions that our sisters and brothers suffer in the Mediterranean and in the world, and of all forms of LGBTQI-phobias”, explains the organizers on the Facebook event.
La Pride Marseille ends Monday with a film-debate organized with the Calem institute around the film “Our identities engaged despite all-powerful masculinities”. it takes place at the Bernardines theater followed by a round table.
