Involving children and young people – an important task of open children and youth work.

The following questions will be answered in the training:

The WHAT of the participation?
What does participation actually mean?
Presentation of models that can be used in a team.

WHERE am I in the participation?
What is my attitude towards child and youth participation? What are my limits good for?
Experience participation in the seminar in practice.

The HOW of participation:
How can I practically implement participation in everyday life in my field of work? Presentation of practical examples that can be implemented, fields of action and forms of participation.

The focus is on methods of participation that invite – take children and young people with them. In addition, the most important children’s rights are taken into account.

To use

You acquire basic knowledge in the field of child and youth participation and are able to orientate yourself in the subject area. You have developed a secure attitude towards the topic and can implement participation in your work area.
