FilGoal | News Al-Kaie: We finished the Coulibaly crisis before the start of the season

Adly al-Qaei, marketing and contracting adviser to Al Ahli's board of directors, said his club's management had agreed with Etoile du Sahel officials to resolve the long-standing crisis of Ivorian Soleimani Coulibaly.

"We agreed to solve the problem before the start of the season, and we announced that it is now under implementation," he added.

"At first, the officials of the coastal star suggested repaying $ 900,000 over five years, but we have maintained our full right to the fine imposed by the International Federation of $ 1.4 million."

"This is not retaliation against the player or a commercial operation under negotiation, but as long as I have a right, why do I overdo it?"

"The implementation has been hampered by the lack of sufficient financial guarantees from Tunisian club officials," he said.

"A delegation from the club, including board member Khalid Murtaji and Swiss lawyer Monterrey, traveled and the gaps that prevented the completion of the agreement were rectified and a tripartite contract signed between the two clubs and the Ivorian player."

"All the parties are satisfied to fulfill the obligation, especially since the star club pays on behalf of the player and there may be an agreement on how Coulibaly will participate in the payment of the premiums.

"There was to be a strict financial agreement to avoid entering into a legal clash or lawsuits at the time of payment of any installment," he said.

Al-Kaie announced the return of Al-Ahli money from Tunisia's CS Sfaxien as part of the Junior Ajay deal.

"An error of $ 125,000 was transferred to the Tunisian club when Ajayi was hired," he said.

"The delegation of the club, which included Council member Khaled Murtaji and Swiss lawyer Monterrey, used their presence in Tunisia to sign the agreement with ES Sahel to pay the fine of Ivorian Soleimani Coulibaly."

He pointed out that Murtaja and Monterrey went to Sfax, and finished the matter, and it was agreed to recover this amount.

Junior Ajayi joined Al Ahli in the summer of 2016 from Tunisian CS Sfaxien with a deal worth more than $ 2 million.
