Moroccan newspaper Al-Sabah said that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has chosen Bakary Jasama and Pamlak Tessima to manage the semi-final first leg of the African Champions League.

And you wrote that the Gambian Jasama will manage the Wydad and Al-Ahly match, while Tessima will lead the Ethiopian match between Raja and Zamalek.

Morocco will host the first leg of the semi-final matches on October 16 and 17, and the return leg will take place a week later in Egypt.

Jasama led 10 previous matches for Al-Ahly, the latter winning 4 of them and losing 3 times, most notably the 2013 African Super Cup, when the red team defeated the Congolese Leopar.

While Tissima managed two encounters for Zamalek, which were won by the white team, most notably the second leg of last season’s Confederation when the latter defeated the renaissance of Berkane of Morocco with a penalty shootout.

The semi-finals were scheduled to be held at the end of this September, but the increase in Coronavirus cases in Morocco postponed the confrontations to the second half of October.

CAF decided to conduct a lottery in the event that an Egyptian and Moroccan team qualify for the final, to determine the venue for the final between Egypt and Morocco.

Whereas if the final is purely Egyptian or Moroccan, the country of the competitors will host the confrontation.
