Zambian midfielder Gianni Sekazoui appears to be the referee of the Moroccan volleyball match with Zamalek on Sunday in the final leg of the Confederations Cup after several reports said the African Football Confederation (CAF) had "chosen" the task.
The Moroccan sports channel said Kave assigned the match to Sikazwe, 39, who has been temporarily suspended for months after being questioned over his decisions in Esperance and Espanyol's Primero de Angosto in the African Champions League 2018 semi-final.
Sikkazwe, who works as a teacher, is one of the elite rulers of Africa. He managed the 2017 African Cup of Nations between Egypt and Cameroon, which was lost by the Pharaohs in Gabon 2-1.
He had another important game in the Pharaohs' campaign to qualify for the 2017 African Cup, when Egypt drew 1-1 with hosts Nigeria.
He was among the referees of the 2018 World Cup, and managed the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup final between Real Madrid and Kashima Antlers of Japan.
The Egyptian clubs are optimistic about Sikazoui, in six games they have never lost.
Sikazwe managed 3 games for Al Ahli, the latter won two of them and tied a time.
While Zamalek, Sunday's match will be his fourth with Sikazwe, who last month ran the white knight's match against ES Sahel in the Confederations Cup semi-final. A match settled by the goal of the brilliant Mahmoud Abdel Moneim "electrified".
Zamalek beat Sikazoui on Morocco Fassi in the 2012 CAF Champions League and tied against Saint George of Ethiopia in the same tournament in 2013.
