Krefeld There are still one or two young people who are currently considering whether an apprenticeship can be an alternative to school. But where are you supposed to find suitable training “just before the end”? Here are tips.
The 2022 training year will start shortly. There are still one or two young people who are currently considering whether an apprenticeship can be an alternative to school. But where are you supposed to find suitable training “just before the end”? Who can help? The municipal coordination offices for the transition from school to work in the Middle Lower Rhine will be asking these and other questions together with various partners in careers orientation at the digital parents’ evening on Thursday, June 2nd, at 7 p.m. Interested parents, but also the young people themselves are invited to this evening. There is the opportunity to ask specific questions to the relevant experts in order to get input and motivation. The focus of the evening is clearly on the areas in the Middle Lower Rhine where it is still possible to start vocational training at this point in time. Representatives of the Federal Employment Agency, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Chamber of Crafts, the Association of Independent Professions and educational institutions provide an insight into company training perspectives in Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and the districts of Viersen and Neuss. Registration for the event is not required.
