Weiterstadt (dpa / lrs) – – In the community center of Weiterstadt in the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg it burned on Sunday night. There were no injuries, the police said. Shortly after midnight, the emergency services were told that there was heavy smoke coming from the storage rooms in the basement. At the time, celebrations would have taken place in the civic center. According to the police, property damage could have resulted in a six-figure amount. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
