LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Los Angeles fires busy early Friday morning in Los Angeles.
The roof of a two-story Fourplex collapsed in part as the firefighters fought a fire raging on the first and second floors of the building and in the attic. The fire, which broke out around 6 in the morning, was extinguished in 34 minutes despite heavy flames, said the fire department of Los Angeles City.
Perhaps the fire was visible from Highway 10 near Normandy.
No injuries were reported.
At Harvard Park, the firefighters needed a chainsaw to bang into a one-story fourplex to fight heavy flames. Around 12:30, this fire broke out and neighbors said a woman had run from door to door to inform her about the fire.
Two units were damaged, but no injuries were reported in this fire.
