The collision of an inter-municipal transport bus from the Libertadores company and a tractor-trailer in the early hours of this Sunday leaves, so far, five people dead, including a minor, and another 21 injured.
According to the first report from the authorities, the crash occurred in the road between Bucaramanga and Pamplona (Norte de Santander) in the Páramo de Berlín sector, at kilometer 52+430 meters, in a place known as Arenales.
Police confirmed that the 21 injured were transferred and Bucaramanga healthcare centers and the metropolitan area where they receive medical care.
Officials from the Santander Traffic and Transport Police remain on site in order to collect evidence to establish the causes of the serious crash.
