Five driver’s licenses lost after street races, a driver only had it for four weeks

The Brabant police have recovered the driving licenses of five motorists after they were caught racing in Oss. One of them drove 80 kilometers too fast on a provincial road, another had his driver’s license for less than four weeks.

That 18-year-old motorist drove almost 140 kilometers per hour on the Graafsebaan, where the maximum speed is 80 kilometers per hour.

The highest recorded speed in the street race was 163 kilometers per hour. The police also carried out traffic checks in other places in eastern Brabant. Fines were issued for driving without a valid driver’s license, ignoring an overtaking ban, giving a false name and not making hands-free calls.
