For five passengers on the Flixbus ride from Vienna to the Croatian town of Crikvenica, the journey ended halfway, reports the Austrian newspaper Kronen-Zeitung. An affected woman told the tabloid that the bus driver had left after a smoking break without five passengers.
"The driver said: 'Five minutes break.' Everyone was in sight, "said the 75-year-old woman of" Kronen-Zeitung ". "Shortly afterwards the bus left without warning." According to the woman also her luggage including cell phone, money and passport remained in the bus. The incident occurred on Saturday.

Ultimately, however, they had to cross the border to Austria on foot to find a transport back to Vienna. Opposite the "Kronen-Zeitung", the victim quantified the damage to 1000 euros.
Even on the journey from Warsaw to Munich, a family could not continue their journey to their destination this week. As the "Mercury" reports, a 72-year-old woman traveling with her two grandchildren was stolen the passport while driving. Because she could not identify, the bus driver refused to let her get in when changing in Prague, said the wife of the Munich newspaper. After all, the elderly woman had to spend the night with her grandchildren at a police station because she could not book a hotel room without identity papers. She finally got home by train after receiving new papers from the consulate in the Czech Republic.
