Berlin – Prestige success for Fnatic: The team from the British e-sports organization won the duel of the European teams in the quarterfinals of the Valiant Masters 2-0 against FunPlus Phoenix.
The Challengers winner of the EMEA region, to which Europe belongs, is thus celebrating a successful debut. As one of four seeded teams, the Valorant pros were already qualified for the knockout stage.
Fnatic meets Paper Rex in the upper bracket semifinals. The Indonesian team beat Guild Esports 2-0 in the quarterfinals.
The Masters is not over for the two defeated EMEA teams FPX and Guild. Due to the double knockout system, they move to the losing leg. Here they play in a duel for entry into the next round – and further for their chance at the Masters title.
