Foods that lead to lung cancer

When we hear about lung cancer, cigarette smoking is a common cause, but scientists have also found that some foods can lead to this serious disease.

Recent scientific studies have shown that individual dietary habits may also contribute to lung cancer risk.

Unlike smoking, you may not have to completely abstain from these foods, but you should relieve them as much as possible, to avoid an increased risk of the disease.

These foods include:

1. Saturated fat

These saturated fats are found in processed meat, dark chocolate and heavy cream.

A study found that people who ate large amounts of saturated fat within their diet were more likely to develop lung cancer than those who ate less than a day.

2. Manufactured beta-carotene supplements

Beta carotene is naturally found in orange or yellow foods, such as carrots, peppers, pumpkins and mangoes, and has health benefits.

But the problem, according to researchers, lies in the use of processed beta-carotene supplements, which may have a negative impact on people who smoke, especially when taken too much, increasing the chance of getting cancer.

The study examined the determination of beta-carotene supplements manufactured, not the natural body of it.

The authors issued recommendations urging beta-carotenoids from their natural sources and avoiding any plant source.

3. Carbohydrates treated

The researchers found that people who ate more sugars had a higher risk of developing lung cancer than those who consumed less sugar.

4. Grilled meat

Some studies have shown that roast meats can contribute to the increase of many cancers such as pancreatic cancer and breast cancer.

Smoke and fumes from grilled or burnt meat during barbecues contain carcinogens that may seep into the meat to get into your body with what you eat after you finish the barbecue.

5. Foods and drinks contain arsenic

Arsenic may be present in varying degrees in drinking water if it is contaminated, and some processed juices such as apple juice, rice, seafood, and poultry.

A health study concluded that drinking water contamination in Bangladesh had a severe adverse effect on their lung function, after researchers found arsenic.
