Soccer – Freiburg im Breisgau:“Kicker”: Exchange of Demirovic with Augsburger Gregoritsch

Freiburg (AP) – A personnel swap deal is in the offing between the Bundesliga soccer teams SC Freiburg and FC Augsburg. As the “Kicker” reports, center forward Ermedin Demirovic is to move from Freiburg to Augsburg and take the position of Michael Gregoritsch there. The 24-year-old Demirovic had already left the training camp of the sports club in Schruns, Austria, on Friday and is to complete the medical check in Augsburg. At the same time, Freiburg could complete the commitment of 28-year-old Gregoritsch, which has been on the horizon for a few days.
The Austrian would be the fourth new signing from Breisgau after Matthias Ginter (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Daniel-Kofi Kyereh (FC St. Pauli) and Ritsu Doan (PSV Eindhoven). His contract with FCA would have expired on June 30, 2023. Demirovic’s contract in Freiburg should run until the end of June 2024.
