For a fight over CSKA: Murray personally gave bonuses to Levski

Levski coach Stanimir Stoilov has given the players a bonus after the 2-0 win in the derby against CSKA on Sunday. Murray took personal funds out of his pocket and rewarded his players for the success over the Reds, Tema Sport reports. He was very satisfied with the performance of the team, with the tactical discipline and total aggression of all his graduates and decided to further raise the spirit in the team. In this season, the players collect BGN 1,000 for a victory in the First League, and it is possible that they are inflated for the matches against CSKA and Ludogorets.

It is not yet clear whether the footballers will be awarded with bonuses by the general sponsor Palms Bet, who after the derby congratulated the success of the blues. The bookmaker did this after winning the Bulgarian Cup in May. Levski’s players received additional bonuses this campaign for relegating PAOK to the Conference League. Then the company Eurohold gave a team premium in the amount of 20,000 euros.

At the same time, the club is expecting serious revenue from the derby tickets. Around hosting PAOK in the first qualifying round of the Conference League, the Blues recorded a record revenue of BGN 549,167. Since the beginning of the season, Levski played 6 home games – 4 in the First League and 2 in the European tournaments. Before the start of the official matches, “Gerena” had officially announced that since the start of the “Levski is Eternal” campaign in February, the club’s income from tickets was exactly BGN 1,995,676.14, and the income from the derby with CSKA, as they will be announced in the coming days.
