Berlin Foreign investors are fleeing the Russian capital market in droves. Their share has fallen to the lowest level since August 2015 – for the first time in almost six years it is below 20 percent.

The Russian bonds, which are popular because of their high interest rates, were particularly popular with foreign investors. But now a planned auction for the issue of new OFZ in Moscow had to be canceled on March 24th due to a lack of demand. The bonds issued in rubles are referred to as OFZ.
