Anthony Pettis suffered a strange injury one hour before losing Nate Diaz in August.
The former UFC lightweight champion says he is against the US Anti-Doping Agency.

Pettis told Ariel Helwani ESPN on Monday that USADA needed a drug test before 17 August. He said that he cut his hand on a rough margin on the package provided by the anti-doping agency when packaging the urine eyes and needed medical attention before entering the Octagon.
“I did the test,” said Pettis. “I'm closing the first bottle. It's like a twist cap. I'm turning the cap. I put it inside a plastic bag, and I see blood. I like ‘what is the f —? This bag contains blood.
“I'm looking at my hand. And I hurt my thumb on USADA drug testing. ”
Pettis said that he had then decided – to get bites, paste the cut or stop it from the fight.
“A UFC guy comes in,” said Pettis. “It's like‘ Right, you need stitches. We can do two things. We can stitch you. And then you probably will bleed in the fight. Or we can close glue. And it will hold the fight. ”
Pettis said that he eventually decided to paste the cut and proceed to the fight despite his coach Duke Roufus advising him to call him.
Pettis lost a decision to unanimously Diaz, who ruled the fight during UFC's main event 241.
Pettis then said that he is taking legal action.
“I couldn't talk about because I gave USADA a chance to do it right,” Pettis said. “Right now we're going through the court. I have to sue them. ”
Pettis manager Abe Kawa subsequently confirmed to ESPN that he is employed by anti-doping attorney Howard Jacobs, who defended Jon Jones in the USADA anti-doping situation, and intends to file law next week.
“We will be naming USADA, the UFC and the maker of Anthony's own bottle,” Kawa said to ESPN.
USADA refused to comment on ESPN.
Pettis is scheduled to fight with Diego Ferreira on Saturday at UFC 246 in Conor McGregor-Donald Cerrone's main event.
