Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imram Khan who denounced US interference was wounded in a shooting

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan was injured in a shootout, in which one other person was killed and eight others were also injured.

The attacker was caught by Khan’s supporters and later arrested by the police.

The attack occurred in Wazirabad while the former prime minister is marching through the country to denounce foreign interference.

The march under the slogan “true freedom” began last Friday in Lahore and should end in Islamabad.

Imran Khan blames the United States for being behind the motion of censure that removed him from the Government last April.

The former president wanted to present himself as a neutral at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which also coincided with his visit to Moscow.
