“The entire health, social action and medico-social system is collapsing. This is the observation drawn up by the CGT.

The union calls on users and employees in the health, social action and medico-social sectors to come together Thursday September 22, at 4.30 p.m. in front of the sub-prefecture of Fougères.

Illness and malaise

“In our health, social action or medico-social establishments, we are experiencing totally unacceptable situations in an already seriously degraded social context”, continues the CGT, which considers that “the malaise and malaise at work of employee. e. s and agents. e. s have never been so present”.

The union lists several causes: a worrying deterioration in the working conditions of employees. e. s and support for users; an increasingly glaring lack of personnel and means to deal with the missions entrusted to them; situations of stress, exhaustion at work linked to the loss of meaning of the missions or even methods of taking charge of people accompanied by personnel management modeled on the commercial sector (lean-management). “Not to mention that there are still excluded. e. s of the salary increase of 183 €”, adds the CGT which is worried about the future:

The situation is becoming untenable in all our establishments! There is a lack of personnel everywhere. What will become of our structures, our services in the face of the lack of funding and allocated resources?

The rally in front of the sub-prefecture of Fougères aims to denounce this situation, “once again” and to demand solutions: “That’s enough. The closures of beds and structures must stop. We need training and recruitment. We must revalue our professions and our missions. »
