Four servicemen of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) were killed, five more were injured as a result of shelling near Donetsk. This was reported on the website of the People’s Militia of the DPR.

It is specified that on the morning of Monday, June 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at the positions of the People’s Militia units in the area of the Lozovoe settlement; three Donetsk military men were killed and one was seriously wounded.

“Despite the fact that, in agreement with the Ukrainian representative office, a“ silence regime ”was declared in the JCCC, at 13:30 the evacuation group, following the wounded and the bodies of the dead in an ambulance, was treacherously fired from the direction of Krasnogorovka from SPG-9. As a result, one defender of the DPR was killed and four were injured, ”the department added.

They indicated that the ambulance had medical markings and that the Ukrainian military had been warned in advance about the time and route of its movement.

Earlier in June, the DPR accused Ukraine of spreading fakes. In particular, Kiev’s statement about six attacks from the enemy’s side per day was called inappropriate there. The DPR representative also pointed out that the Ukrainian authorities are using the days of “silence” to accuse the self-proclaimed republics, “justifying their own further shelling.”
