During the debut of the new generation Range Rover L460, Jaguar Land Rover announced that this SUV will be presented in the Russian market in three versions. But plans have changed since then, and we will have four versions. They are already on the official website of the brand, and in the Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS) for the car, which entered into force on February 4 and allows these cars to be officially sold in the country.

So, in the Russian range there will be two diesel and two petrol modifications. Ranger Rover D250 (249 hp, 570 Nm) and Range Rover D350 (350 hp, 700 Nm) have an in-line six-cylinder biturbodiesel 3.0 of their own Ingenium family, and, judging by the certificate, the two versions of this engine have the same hardware “. The third, previously unannounced modification will be the Range Rover P360, a “mild” hybrid with a 3.0 petrol turbo six (360 hp, 500 Nm) of the Ingenium series, a 48-volt starter-alternator and a compact lithium-ion battery under the front seats.

And at the top of the range is the Range Rover P530 with a BMW N63 biturbo engine (V8, 4.4 l), which produces 530 hp. and 750 Nm. Such an SUV will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. All modifications have an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, a two-stage BorgWarner transfer case, four-wheel drive with a front axle coupling, air suspension and a fully controlled chassis.

The new Range Rover will be offered in standard and extended versions. For the latter, the third row of seats is available for the first time, but the initial diesel D250 is not allowed for long-wheelbase SUVs. You can choose from SE, HSE, Autobiography, First Edition and SV trims, although even the base variant has natural leather upholstery, three-zone climate control, door closers, a Meridian audio system, 21-inch wheels and more.

The start of sales is scheduled for the spring. Official prices have not yet been announced, which does not prevent dealers from accepting pre-orders. The old Range Rover now costs at least 8.1 million rubles (cars can still be found on sale), and the new model will hardly be cheaper than ten million.
