Friend star Matthew Perry spends three months in the hospital after suffering a bowel fracture

Former boyfriend Matthew Perry said he spent the last three months in the hospital after suffering a bowel breakdown.

Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the American sitcom, tweeted on Friday and said, "Three months in a hospital bed.

"Check."

It comes one month after his spokeswoman confirmed that the 49-year-old was in hospital recovering from surgery. He said, "He is grateful for the concern and asks for continued privacy when healing."

A punctured intestinal or gastrointestinal perforation can occur along any point in the wall of the gastrointestinal tract, including the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.

Symptoms are severe abdominal pain.

The Canadian-American actor became famous in the 1990s when he was one of the six leading actors in Friends.

Besides Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, he was one of the most famous faces on television.

Friends ended in 2004but the fans were happy when all 10 series were brought to Netflix in January this year.

Perry previously said that he did not want to attend a friendship meeting because it would "ruin" the end of the sitcom.

He also appeared in the films The Whole Nine Yards and Fools Rush In.

Perry told talk show presenter Jimmy Kimmel 2017 that He fought against Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the fifth grade.

He recalled, "My friend Chris Muray, who was in fifth grade in Canada, reminded me that we beat Justin Trudeau.

"We both beat him up."

The Canadian leader jokingly replied on Twitter: "I thought about it, and you know what, who did not want to beat Chandler?

"How about a rematch?"
