An accident between two cars occurred in Zollikon (ZH) on Thursday. Two people were injured.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. there was a head-on collision between two cars on Forchstrasse. The two 69- and 36-year-old drivers were slightly injured and had to be transported to a hospital in an ambulance. A 1-year-old toddler was brought to the hospital for a check-up.
The cause of the accident is still unclear and is being investigated by the Zurich canton police in cooperation with the See / Oberland public prosecutor’s office.
The Forchstrasse was closed for about two and a half hours because of the accident. A diversion has been set up.
In addition to the Zurich canton police, the Küsnacht municipal police, an ambulance from Schutz & Rettung Zurich and the Zollikon fire brigade were in action.
