Fuel Consumption Test 5 Best-selling LMPVs on Urban Roads, Who’s the Most Efficient? page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Consumption of fuel oil (BBM) in motor vehicles is now one of the important factors to determine the amount of operating and ownership costs for a certain period.

The participants who took part in the challenge were Toyota Veloz, Daihatsu Xenia, Mitsubishi Xpander, Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid, and the newcomer from South Korea, Hyundai Stargazer.

Previously, the editors had tested acceleration, braking, and cabin tightness on each model at the facility proving ground Bridgestone Karawang, West Java.

To test fuel consumption, the team traveled normally (AC and audio was on) in urban areas with a distance of about 60 Kilometers which took 3-3.5 hours.

Doing the test in the afternoon or peak hours, the selected route includes MT Haryono, Tendean, Mampang, TB Simatupang, TMII, Pondok Gede, Kalimalang, until ending in Kelapa Gading.
