A new award for the campsite in the Domaine de Masseur. The establishment located in Sommières, was rewarded on January 13 in Stuttgart, Germany, with the very prestigious prize of theADAC, for his environmental efforts. L’ADACa German automobile association, awarded the Gard campsite the prize for first European campsite in the category “Development sustainability and awareness To the environment”. An exceptional performance among 5,266 candidates competing throughout Europe. A new consecration for the campsite managed by Gilles Rigole, who had already been rewarded in the past. In 2010, the Campsite of the Domain of Masseur was the first in France to be awarded a fifth star.
Water, waste, energy… many eco-responsible facilities within the campsite
Created by a Winegrower family in the 2000s, the campsite is therefore now one of the establishments at the forefront of responsible tourism. This is thanks to its environmental policy and its facilities, particularly energy. Camping is for example, thanks to its photovoltaic park, the first in Europe to be self-sufficient in electrical energy.
