In Germany, Shahraban K., a 23-year-old young woman, is to be charged with murder and faces life imprisonment after killing her look-alike, Khadidja, whom she met on Instagram, in order to fake her own death.
An insidious murder. On January 26 and 27, German police issued arrest warrants for Shaqir K., a man of Kosovo origin, and Shahraban K., a 23-year-old woman of Iraqi origin, both suspected of killing a fashion blogger he met on social media.
The story began on August 16, 2022. On that day, the lifeless body of a young woman, with a disfigured face, was found in a parked car in Ingolstadt, a city located in southern Germany.
The body of the victim, quickly identified as that of Shahraban K., a Munich beautician, was discovered by his own parents.
However, the day after the discovery of the corpse, and more precisely during the autopsy, doubts began to settle on the side of the investigators.
business meeting turns into murder
In the end, the body turned out to be that of Khadidja, a fashion blogger of Algerian origin residing in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Coincidence: the victim is the same age as Shahraban K. and looks like him like two drops of water.
On August 19, the Munich beautician was arrested along with Shaqir K., suspected of being her accomplice. According to German media Bild, the week before the murder, the two suspects contacted several women, all of whom looked like Shahraban K., on Instagram, including Khadidja.
Claiming a business meeting, the couple managed to convince the victim to accept the invitation and meet them. The blogger then joined the two suspects in a car parked in a wood between Heilbronn and Ingolstadt. The murderers stabbed their victim fifty times before transporting his body near the home of Shahraban’s parents.
According to the British media Guardian, this macabre staging was intended to fool the parents of the Munich beautician, with whom the latter has more than conflicting relations.
