Get ready! Additional Eid Train Tickets are sold at 00.00 WIB

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI is preparing additional train tickets for the Lebaran Transport period which will go on sale on Monday, 13 March 2023 at 00.00. Ticket reservations can be made through the KAI Access application, the kai.id website, contact center 121 and various official sales partners who work with KAI.

The counter at the station only serves ticket sales go show starting 3 hours before the scheduled train departure.

KAI’s VP Public Relations Joni Martinus said that a total of KAI added 487,180 long-distance train seats or an average of 22,144 seats per day. These additional trains are available for favorite route trips such as Jakarta – Solo pp, Jakarta – Surabaya pp, Bandung – Semarang pp, Yogyakarta – Surabaya pp, and others.

“KAI has added several trips on various routes and classes to accommodate the high interest of the public to go home by train at the moment of Eid 2023. The presence of these additional trains shows KAI’s readiness to provide transportation facilities for customers who want to travel during the Eid season, and is a a form of commitment to serve the community as well as possible,” said Joni in his statement, Sunday (12/3/2023).

– April 1, 2, 6-9, 13-30 2023: Additional Sancaka Train (Surabaya Gubeng – Yogyakarta pp)

– April 1, 2, 7-9, 14-30 2023: Arjuno Express Train (Surabaya Gubeng – Malang pp)

– April 1-10, 12-30 2023: Additional Argo Sindoro train (Semarang Tawang – Gambir pp)

– April 6-30 2023: Additional Gajayana Train (Malang – Gambir pp), Additional Sembrani Train (Surabaya Pasarturi – Gambir pp), Additional Argo Sindoro Train (Semarang Tawang – Gambir), Additional Argo Muria Train (Gambir – Semarang Tawang)

Meanwhile, based on monitoring on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 19.00 WIB, Long Distance Train tickets during the Eid 2023 Transportation period which have been sold for train departures in the period April 12 to 26 2023 are 514,127 tickets or 32.3% of the total tickets provided as many as 1,594,014 tickets. This number will still increase, because sales are still ongoing.
