Get to know the agenda of ExpoSaludMSP Salinas and the First Meeting of Patients with Breast Cancer

Tomorrow, October 1, these meetings will be held to promote access to health services for the Puerto Rican population.

In the month of awareness against breast cancer, MSP will lead an important agenda dedicated to the warriors who have faced this condition, which is highly prevalent on the Island, and a health services fair will also be held in the municipality of Salinas, for the inhabitants affected by the emergency of Hurricane Fiona.

First Meeting of Breast Cancer Patients

As part of a commitment to the health of Puerto Ricans, the Revista Medicina y Salud Pública, together with Hospital Auxilio Mutuo and the Susan G. Komen organization Puerto Ricowill hold the first meeting of patients with breast cancer, where patients they will share their testimonies of life and in turn they will be able to access professional guidance by specialists in the area. The meeting will take place on Saturday, October 1, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, at the Hospital Auxilio Mutuo, in San Juan.

ExpoSalud MSP in Salinas

At the same time, in the public square of Salinas, citizens will receive medical care, supplies, aid, food and entertainment for the whole family. From 9:00 am, they will be able to approach and access an entire institutional offer, convened by MSP, in alliance with the Department of Health, ASES, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Pregnant, Lactating, Postpartum, Infants and Children (WIC ), MMM, Abbvie, VOCES, Heroes for Champions, Mennonite Health System, Renal Council of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rican Diabetes Association.
