Gotham Knights: WB Games Montreal unveils 13 minutes of “gameplay” with Nightwing and Red Hood [VIDÉO]

Warner Bros. Games Montreal and DC unveiled, Tuesday morning, a first sequence of gameplay with Nightwing and Red Hood in the upcoming action RPG Gotham Knights.

Game Director Geoff Ellenor brings us a new in-depth video of the open-world game, in development at Warner Bros. Games Montreal, lasting 13 minutes.

In the sequence, we are offered more information on two of the four characters forming the group of vigilantes of Gotham Knights, who bring order and justice to the city while investigating the mysterious Court of Owls. We are also introduced to the fighting style of the two heroes, the acrobatic style of Nightwing and the more brutal of Red Hood. We also learn about the abilities they have to move in the open world.

There will be no PS4 and Xbox One versions

The release of the game developed in Montreal is scheduled for October 25th. To maximize the gaming experience, Gotham Knights will only be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. By the same token, WB Games confirms that there will not be PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Gotham Knights can now be pre-ordered online on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, digitally starting at US$69.99, in standard and deluxe editions.

Gotham Knights Collector’s Edition coming soon for pre-order.

A collector’s edition will soon be available for pre-order. This includes the deluxe edition of the game, an augmented reality collectible pin, an exclusive map of Gotham City and a statuette of the four characters. Additionally, players who pre-order any edition of the game will receive a skin for the Batcycle 233 Kustom, as seen in Detective Comics #233, from DC.
