Representatives of the government of Juan Guaidó in the United States are able to use the bank accounts of the Venezuelan embassy in the US, revealed a member of the diplomatic team of the president to Reuters.
"We have the capacity to act sovereignly on them, but our focus is to be incredibly conservative due to all the circumstances," the source said on condition of anonymity.
He explained that although it is not ruled out to use the funds, for this it is necessary to have the endorsement, of a budget, by the National Assembly, outlined Reuters.
The information comes after the United States announced that it would grant the government of Juan Guaidó control of all accounts of the Venezuelan state that are in US banks.
