BADAJOZ "We are from the Tax Agency, we have come to seize your wedding." Thus began the nightmare of two boyfriends who were married on June 1 in Badajoz. Everything was perfect until the Hacienda interrupted his day. At first they thought that the inspectors were looking for payments in black money or investigating the gifts. As they learned later, they had to garnish the payment of their wedding because their catering company owes money to the Tax Agency. The objective of the inspectors was to find out what their contract was with this business and to intercept the payment, that is, that the couple would give the money to the Treasury to alleviate the fiscal debt of the catering. However, the process caused them to stay without cutting or eating cake, without toasting with champagne and without air conditioning at 43 degrees.
On the other hand, the worst moment was when the Civil Guard asked the bride to leave the dance to talk to her. "You are full of happiness and they put you in hell," laments the boyfriend in the newspaper Hoy. Those affected claim that part of the event was damaged and that they suffered moral damages. For this reason they have hired the lawyer Eduardo Gil Mastro and they are going to present a claim of patrimonial responsibility to the Tax Agency. "I do not understand the aggressiveness of going to the wedding, talking to us, calling the Civil Guard … They could notify us, as they have done later in writing and by e-mail, that we should not pay the company because they want us to do the payment directly to the Treasury as creditors, we lost services, not to mention the moral damage, "says the boyfriend.
