Updated on April 17, 2018 08:10 AM This Tuesday the health workers will take the country’s hospitals as a measure of protest for the lack of medicines in the health centers and the deficit in salaries.
The demonstration is scheduled for 10:00 am and will end at 2:00 pm outside of all hospitals in Venezuela.
According to complaints from users on social networks, in some health care centers there is a presence of the State security bodies.
The journalist Luis Gonzalo Pérez reported Monday that from 9:00 p.m. officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) had been stationed around the JM Hospital of Los Ríos, in Caracas, to prevent the protest. The same scenario is reported in the surroundings of the Central Hospital of Maracay.
