Health service disruptions are increasing in Eastern Quebec.

Residents of Rivière-Saint-Paul on the Lower North Shore will no longer have access to a nurse at the CLSC from 4 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. during the week and throughout the weekend.

The Côte-Nord Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) asks users to contact Info-santé directly or to go to the Blanc-Sablon facility.

In Matane, 15 patients had to be transferred from Matane to Rimouski since the intensive care closed on July 5. Due to a lack of staff, the management of the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent decided to close intensive care to keep the emergency open.
