his concert ends in death

The tragedy happened in Philadelphia.

The Weeknd is currently on tour and one of his concerts went wrong in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A man died after falling 12 meters.

The Canadian singer’s “After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour” began on July 8 and not even two weeks later, an accident occurred during one of his concerts in the city of Philadelphia. And 32-year-old man fell 12 meters and did not survive his injuries. This is the American newspaper The Philadelphia Inquirer who recently shared the information, even if the tragedy occurred last Thursday, July 14.

According to the newspaper, the man had taken place on an escalator ramp at Lincoln Financial Field (where the concert was taking place), then tipped over and landed on his head. Of course, he was quickly rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead just after midnight on Friday, July 15. Yes, the one who signed a big contract with Universal has not yet reacted, others have spoken. Indeed, since the “Philadelphia Eagles” NFL team plays at Lincoln Financial Field, it is therefore logical that their vice-president of communications, Bob Longspoke. According to him, the concert was almost over and the public was already leaving the scene when the accident occurred.

The day after his performance, The Weeknd did not comment on the accident, but simply thanked his fans on his networks for the concert: “Philadelphia…we finally did it. Thank you for helping me with this tour, yesterday was very emotional for all of us. I could feel each and every one of you. Next stop New York”.

Now that the drama has been made public, there is no doubt that the latter should react. At least we hope so. In the meantime, our thoughts are with the victim’s family.
