I think the whole HMD thing is a shame.
It started so well. At the time I bought a Nokia 6 just after launch and the support was also good, once had an update here and there that broke something; but hey new business give them a chance to learn. Feature updates arrived relatively in time… Then bought the Nokia 6.1, also good for the first few months, and then they started breaking the notification center on my device every time. Things started to falter more and more, etc.
Meanwhile, the line started to fragment enormously and it became painfully clear through updates that Nokia simply didn’t have the capacity to support all this correctly, with the result that updates only came out a year after the date, or that Nokia launched a device with the promise of 2 Android upgrades, but at launch there was already 1 behind it.
Another year or 2 further to today, and Nokia seems to be releasing new devices left and right that are all so close together and also all only low-end to low-mid-end… They already have this year 13 devices released, and the best device is one with a Snapdragon 480 5G. The first device that is better is the 5.4 from the end of 2020 with the Snapdragon 662. Then you have to go all the way to March 2020 to find another device that does better than the Snapdragon 4 series (the 8.3). It’s just become a sad budget brand…
