Holly Willoughby dies after rumors of fierce rivalry with Phillip Schofield

Holly Willoughby has defied allegations of a secret, bitter rivalry with This Morning co-host Philip Schofield.

Sources said it was an "understatement" that there was "a bit of tension" behind the scenes after a dispute over a magazine cover shoot that branded Holly queen.

But rumors of tension and moaning behind the scenes at This Morning seemed to be shot down by Holly (38), who turned to Instagram to pay tribute to Phil.

Under the cover of Father's Day, the three-headed mother labeled the NTA snapshot: I speak about important men in my life on Father's Day. Here is another. My partner on TV and one of my best friends in the world … I love you @schofe. "

Closer than ever

Minutes later, Phil writes back, "Thank you, love, I love you too. Happy Father's Day to Dan (Baldwin, Holly's husband) xxxxxx."

The fans were crazy about the snapshot after seeing the tension between them.

One wrote: "Yes, especially after reading the book about you both today."

It comes after The Sun reported on Sunday that a magazine cover shoot has brought the "fierce rivalry" to the forefront, after Holly had been presented more positively compared to a "grumpy" Phil.

The king and queen of daytime television were introduced, but it got a little sticky after Holly was photographed with a crown, and Phil looks perplexed and clearly "grumpy."

There was a small professional rivalry between the two after Holly had successfully joined Ant McPartlin at I & A A Celebrity, helping the ITV jungle show achieve record audience numbers.

The magazine feature in April infuriated Phil so much that the release was forced to apologize to his management for how the cover would be perceived.

The tension between the presenters, who allegedly hosted an event at This Morning Live at the NEC in Birmingham on May 16, almost died down.

The interview was supposed to be about her success and her popularity as a presentation duo, but Phillip "raged that Holly had a crayon splashed on her head while he was without a crown and grumpily imagining himself watching in her shadow."

After Phillip complained about the cover, Holly was reported to be upset about adding the crown, but it did not stop the 57-year-old host complaining about it during their live show.

The source said Phillip found the crown unpleasant when he "put his neck on the leash for Holly and brought her the job at This Morning in the day".

The couple is still considered the best friend, but has "their ups and downs".

Despite all this, they will continue to "put their friendship first" and the source said, "In the long run, nothing will stand in the way."
