The Yahoo Mail app comes with new updates that make it easier to manage receipts and track deliveries. It also has a free “trial monitor” so you don’t forget to cancel your subscriptions.
Yahoo has rolled out its latest Mail app with a series of updates designed to help users track receipts, shipments, gift cards and “free trial” subscriptions that need to be canceled by a certain date. A new design also aims to make navigation easier, with contextual filters “at the top of the inbox”, one-touch unsubscribe, organization of attached documents and more.
Yahoo Mail helps you be more organized
If you’re one of those who sign up for free trials, the free trial tracker can help. Put reminders at the top of your inbox to let you know when a free trial is up, so you can decide whether to keep it or cancel without panicking about the date. It also offers up-to-date package tracking alerts to let you know where your package is or if it’s ready for pickup.
Another new view lets you see receipts for all your orders in one place, helping you track expenses or make returns easily. And finally, the gift card view shows all unused gift cards in one place so you can use them before they expire.
Yahoo Mail also gets some new design features, most notably the updated navigation at the top of the inbox that lets you switch between your inbox, attached documents, starred reminders, and productivity. It also now includes one-touch unsubscribe, group by sender, and the “email to me” message you sent as reminders. Finally, there’s a new “attachment documents” filter that lets you view and filter all documents attached to emails by type (PDF, documents, photos) so you don’t have to search through each email – email.
Although it doesn’t overtake Gmail or Outlook, Yahoo Mail is right behind those two services in popularity, with about 225 million users as of 2020. The update is now rolling out to iOS and Android, though it may take a while to reach you .
