After a long time of waiting and multiple rumors over the years, the Master Ball came to Pokémon GO, and all Trainers will have a chance to get it in-game. And that is why we tell you how to get it.

The Master Ball is one of the most iconic and prized items in every Pokémon game, as it ensures that you’ll catch the target Pokémon just by throwing it. As a result, you will have to do some missions within the game, since such an outstanding item will not be so easy to obtain.

How to get the Master Ball in Pokémon GO

To obtain the Master Ball in Pokémon GO you will have to complete all the levels of the Free Seasonal Special Investigation “Let’s Go”. The levels of this investigation are progressively unlocked and for now you can complete the following:

LEVEL 1

• Catch 10 Pokemon
• Perform 10 curveball throws
• Power up a Pokémon 5 times

Reward: 1500 XP and Mankey encounter

LEVEL 2

• Catch 15 Pokemon
• Make 10 great throws
• Transfer 20 Pokémon

Rewards: 2000 XP and a Meditate encounter

LEVEL 3

• Power up a Pokémon 10 times
• Make 7 Great Throws
• Defeat a Team GO Rocket recruit

Rewards: 2500 XP and an encounter with Machoke

LEVEL 4

Not unlocked yet

The last research task will be unlocked on May 22 and you will have until June 1 to complete all the levels and get the Master Ball in Pokemon GO.
