Iberia: 42 new frequencies in summer to America

Iberia has just announced a strong increase in its frequencies to various American destinations for next summer.

Iberia retrieve the next month of April their flights between Madrid and San Francisco with three weekly flights and to Washington with four. What’s more will operate to Dallas – Fort Worth, new destination, which until now offered in codeshare with American Airlines.

Also in the United States, New York and Miami will have two daily flights from Madrid in summer. Four more frequencies to each destination over the current ones.

Chicago will increase by two weekly flights, arriving daily between March and October; while Boston will do it from three to six weekly flights, and in August and October to seven.

Los Angeles will go from three to five weekly services, except in the month of August, which will have six frequencies. San Juan de Puerto Rico, from April to August, will receive five weekly flights from Madrid, one more of the current ones.

In Latin America, Buenos Aires will have 12 weekly flights between April and July, 14 in August, and 13 in September and October. This represents an increase of up to 4 frequencies over the current 10.

Bogotá will have two daily flights from February as Iberia had already reported, and Cali, since December 2 when I resume the route, three.

Finally, Mexico City will arrive between April and October at 19 weekly flights, five more frequencies.

All these new frequencies, like is logic, require more aircraft in the fleet. Although some Airbus A330 and A350 are now flying to European destinations, information not confirmed by Iberia when we have asked, they speak inside the airline of the arrival in the first months of 2022 of seven Airbus A350-900 and two A330-300, the latter coming from the Aer Lingus fleet, an airline that, like Iberia, belongs to IAG.

In these moments, let us remember, there are at least three Iberia A350s in Toulouse (serial and registration numbers 453, EC-NLP; 459, EC-NMZ; 483, EC-NSC) ready for delivery. One of them is already parked at the delivery center even.
