From June 16, rail travelers from Göttingen should find out exactly how their ICE actually travels to Berlin. Construction work will cause detours.
Göttingen. The Deutsche Bahn work on the route between Braunschweig and Wolfsburg has an impact as far as Göttingen. Because the Weddel-Fallersleben route has to be closed to local and long-distance traffic from Friday, June 16th to Thursday, August 24th. This means that trains on the Frankfurt-Kassel-Brunswick-Berlin ICE line every two hours have to be diverted between Göttingen and Wolfsburg via Hanover-Messe/Laatzen. The Deutsche Bahn informs about this in a message. The stops in Hildesheim, Braunschweig and partly in Wolfsburg are omitted.
