It seems that Iggy Azalea now claims that she is an independent artist.
About nine months after she had moved from Def Jam to Island Records, the 28-year-old artist announced that she was not officially signed. And she seems pretty excited.

"I love Iceland, but I do not want a label, there are discussions going on right now," she said this week in a now-deleted tweet. "I want to be my own boss, I think it would be better for me to make my own timeline decisions and have the money."
Iggy got her wish; She told the fans, however, that it would take months to deliver new music.
The announcement arrives less than a month after Iggy confirms that her Bad Girls North American Tour has been scrapped.
