Barcelona, Oct 27 (EFE) .- The carmaker Seat has appointed Ignasi Prieto as the new global director of Marketing for Seat and Cupra, replacing Jason Lusty, who will be the new head of Brand Strategy for the Volkswagen Group.
Prieto, who will assume the position from November 1, has worked for two years as Cupra’s Marketing Manager and will now go on to direct this area also for the Seat brand.
In a statement, Seat highlights that Prieto has 15 years of experience in the field of advertising and marketing within the automotive sector and that he began his career in the brand based in Martorell (Barcelona) in 2015.
The president of Seat and CEO of Cupra, Wayne Griffiths, has assured: “Under his leadership we are entering a new phase and I am sure that his commitment and his capabilities will help enormously to continue growing”.
