A driver threatened another man on the A66 near Frankfurt with a gun. Their vehicles had collided slightly before.
ein 28-year-old man from the Groß-Gerau area lost his nerve during a traffic jam on the A66 on Sunday evening – and threatened another driver with a gun. According to the police, the dispute was apparently triggered at 8.10 p.m. by the two men having previously collided with their vehicles at Frankfurt-Zeilsheim when they reached the end of the traffic jam.
When they were standing side by side, the twenty-eight-year-old picked up an item that turned out to be a weapon and showed it to his 60-year-old adversary through the window. He called the police.
The officials temporarily arrested the twenty-eight-year-old. As it turned out, the weapon was a shotgun. The officers also found suitable ammunition and an electric shock device in the car. The man now has to answer for violations of the weapons law and for threats.
