The Cité Europe in Calais will (again) welcome new brands by the start of the school year 2022. In total, ten shops will open in the shopping center of the Opal Coast. We take stock.
After the opening at the beginning of the year of Geographical Norwaya ready-to-wear brand, and The Hemp Concepta boutique specializing in CBD products, visitors will be able to enjoy by September from 8 new stores and of 2 restaurants.
Sport, well-being and good pancakes
At the beginning of the year, Lacoste, Barber Men, JD Sport and the restaurant Hopwoodhad already confirmed their establishment.
Today these are We Auditionhearing center, Onlywomen’s ready-to-wear brand, Sports Directspecializing in sporting goods, delicatessen Mathilde’s Counter et Ritualsdedicated to the world of beauty and relaxation, which will open their doors by the start of the school year.
La Cité Gourmande will also see its offer expanded with the opening of Crepe Touchenough to delight the palate of gourmets.
If 10 openings were announced over the year, in the end 12 brands have already been confirmed in the first half. Since 2021, nearly thirty new shops have decided to set up in the Calais shopping center.
Job vacancies to be filled
These many openings lead to job vacancies. Store manager, versatile fast-food team member, sales consultant, specialist salesperson, hairdresser… The positions and contracts are multiple and are aimed at all types of profiles, from student to confirmed.
