In the Mykolayiv region of Ukraine in the fire at a military training ground, seven soldiers were injured. Another soldier died as a result of the incident, reported in his Facebook press secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine Andrei Lysenko.
The fire occurred on the night of March 13 in the territory of the 235th training center in the village of Mikhailovka, in a tent camp. Due to inaccurate handling of fuel and lubricants, one of the tents caught fire, in which there were 15 people. As a result of an emergency, one soldier was killed, seven received burns of varying severity.
The prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case on the destruction of military property, which entailed grave consequences (part 2, article 412 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Lysenko in his report noted that before that, on March 10, the prosecutor’s office opened a case against the military on this site for part 3 of Art. 425 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (negligent attitude to military service). The reason was the lack of “ensuring proper living conditions for servicemen”.
In the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine on the night of September 27, 2017, a fire broke out in military depots. From the fire detonated ammunition, two people were injured. The surrounding settlements were evacuated, the airspace over the warehouses was closed. Material damage from fire in the Verkhovna Rada appreciated in the $ 800 million.
