Since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic, many French people have taken up outdoor sport. Despite the drop in temperatures as the end of the year approaches, there are still just as many followers. In Eure-et-Loir, some innovate, using containers to store their equipment.
In Chartres (Eure-et-Loir), it’s a morning workout that begins for about ten amateurs, including Mathilde, a crossfit enthusiast. “I like to train in the morning, so it’s ideal“, she declares. Outdoor sports teacher during the first confinement, Jules Griveau, sports coach, continues his lessons and innovates concerning the storage of his heavy equipment.”Why don’t we put all this in a container? We came across this simple and effective concept, since you can find inside all the equipment that you can find in a gym.“, explains the sports coach.
Many tools for practicing sport are available in this container: bikes, rowers, dumbbells … For a price of 20 euros per session and with a group limited to 12 people, it’s like a private session, which seems to appeal to followers. This is why Jules Griveau and his long-time partner, Benjamin Lasserre, hope to develop their concept across France. “In 5 to 7 years, we would like to multiply the number of containers by ten in the best case“, adds Benjamin Lasserre, co-manager of the sports company.
