Based in Vannes (Morbihan) and created in 2016 by Xavier Le Louër, Atelier V has just been selected by France Relance as part of the 58 industrial relocation projects unveiled a few days ago.

Atelier V creates recipes based on legumes (peas, lentils, beans, etc.) and works with farmers located in Brittany. To strengthen its volumes, the company, whose turnover reached 3.6 million euros in 2020, plans to expand. More precisely, according to France Relance, the industrialist wishes to increase by 2,400 m² the size of its plant currently deployed on 1,000 m². To date, Atelier V employs 19 people and plans to hire 13 additional employees by 2023.

No coloring

All the recipes offered by Atelier V are based on natural products and without any coloring. All the legumes used and all the other ingredients are only organic. The products respect the rhythm of the seasons, none comes from abroad.

They are sold throughout France in the various organic store brands and also to out-of-home catering specialists. Atelier V does not claim to be a specifically vegan-inspired producer at all. “We are more ethnically inspired,” specifies Charlotte Marsollier, the company’s marketing manager.

The various products created by Atelier V, which are all sold in small jars or in trays, vary between a unit price of 3.50 to 4.50 euros.
