A man living in the Primorsky Territory will go to compulsory treatment of an infectious form of tuberculosis. The law enforcement agencies went to such measures because the patient did not want to be treated and put the public at risk.

The city prosecutor’s office appealed to the court with an administrative suit about the urgent hospitalization of a patient with a contagious form of tuberculosis. Earlier, a resident of the Pristenskiy district fled from a tuberculosis dispensary without completing the course of treatment. According to the prosecutor’s office, according to Art. 10 of the Federal Law “On preventing the spread of tuberculosis in the Russian Federation”, people who have a contagious form of tuberculosis and evade treatment should be hospitalized urgently.
It has already been established that a sick man, knowing about the presence of his illness, evaded treatment posing a threat to others.
